WILLIAM LETINOV
/ About.
Hello. Привет. Tjena. Heisan.
Who I am
I am William Letinov. I am A Master of Architecture student in my final year at the Glasgow School of Art.
I am Half Scottish and Half Russian. From my multilingual background I fascinated by people, culture and place, and how architecture can improve the lives of everyone in every context. My high interest in architecture and culture, and my multilingualism has inspired me to see the world very differently, and to strive to improve my existing knowledge and skills while exploring all the possibilities the world has to offer.
What I do
I am a highly professional and skilled designer, and currently have over 1,5 years architectural experience, working in different countries, in different languages, multidisciplinary design teams and a range of different project types and scales. I design consciously for people and their needs, and in respect to context, culture, history, environment and for the future.
What I Love
To me, architecture is more than built form. It is the sum of a place, culture, beauty and people. Most importantly, it is the sum of the collective effort of the people. I love to travel and discover new possibilities. Wherever I have lived, I have learned the local language, the culture and customs, worked closely with the people, and reflected it within design. This is what drives me and develops me and the architecture I create.
